Euro-BioImaging is a not-for-profit research infrastructure for open access to biological and biomedical imaging services.
We offer access to cutting-edge imaging instruments and let you tap into the largest European network of imaging experts to accelerate your research and development.

Euro-BioImaging provides provide physical and remote access to 237 state-of-the-art imaging facilities across Europe, covering the whole scale of imaging technologies from microscopy to (pre)clinical imaging, from imaging of single molecules to whole organisms.

We can support projects from validation to application and technological development in a wide range of disciplines, including biological or biomedical research, diagnostics, drug discovery, or biomaterials development.

Examples of specific services include, but are not limited to:
•    High-throughput microscopy for large-scale screening projects
•    Correlative light and electron microscopy (CLEM) for multi-scale imaging
•    Cryo-Electron Tomography for in situ structure determination
•    Advanced fluorescence techniques (FRAP, FRET, FCS) for molecular dynamics studies
•    Intravital microscopy for in vivo imaging
•    Tracer synthesis and PET imaging for nuclear medicine
•    Plant Phenotyping
•    Mass-Spectrometry based Imaging
•    Spatial Transcriptomics
•    Image data analysis and validation of software

In addition, our Hub staff can provide professional consultancy services on imaging-related topics including suitable imaging modalities, instrumentation, applications, latest technology developments, image data access and analysis, ML and AI tools.

Our services are open to scientists in academia and industry.
