Lab 4 Paws

Lab4Paws is a biotechnology company building a centralized platform for preclinical veterinary research. Our mission is to become the go-to one-stop shop for veterinary R&D tools by combining a clinically annotated biobank with a growing eShop of species-specific research reagents.

While human medicine benefits from a vast ecosystem of validated tools, an estimated 70–80% of these are missing or not directly applicable in veterinary science. Lab4Paws addresses this structural gap by providing high-quality biospecimens—such as serum, plasma, PBMCs, and tissues—linked to rich clinical metadata, alongside tailored R&D tools designed specifically for animal research.

Our biobank is built on a network of veterinary clinics, enabling direct access to clinically relevant samples that are difficult to source through traditional channels. This is complemented by our eShop, where researchers can access a curated portfolio of primary cells, antibodies, cytokines, ELISA kits, and other research reagents optimized for veterinary applications.

We are particularly focused on supporting the development of therapies and diagnostics for companion animals, especially cats and dogs, where the need for species-specific tools is most acute and the impact on animal health is significant.

By integrating biospecimens and research tools into a single platform, Lab4Paws enables more reliable experimental design, faster validation of targets, and improved translational relevance. We support pharmaceutical companies, diagnostics developers, and academic researchers in accelerating discovery and bringing innovative solutions to animal health.
